I'm not big on journaling, so I'm just gonna keep it brief.

Long story short, I've been trying to get permanent residence in the US for a few years now, and they recently denied my green card application. Which was expensive as fuck.

I won't go into details but sorting this out is giving me a proper kicking in the nuts right now so it's hard to draw or animate or code anything for fun at the moment. I have a bunch of shit I want to work on that I just don't have the energy or time for. It'll pass eventually, but I'm taking a break, and I have been for about two weeks now. I won't be as active on NG or online either.

Not for any reason other than dealing with my life situation, I love NG and the people here!! It's not permanent. Unlike my immigration status.

Thankfully I've never made a commitment to turning art into any kind of obligation in my life, so I can afford keeping it a hobby that I can choose to come back to at my own leisure.

Anyway, I'm still around, just not as much.
