I've been going through my list of followed accounts and it makes me sad to see so many artists just neglecting NG. They upload stuff elsewhere, but not here :(

NG is like one of the only few good places to keep an organized gallery of creations of every genre and media form. Why ignore it?

I'm thinking this is one of the better run sites, because there is some curation and because people mostly post content instead of being influencer-ish. But I imagine that the influencer vibe stuff has more engagement even if it's boring. I dunno, I struggle to even find people doing anything I like on twitter. Youtube is the only other platform so far that seems to have a good independent artist scene.

I think this site in particular has the best community for anything and everything. I can't think of a reason why more artists don't use Newgrounds other than the relatively limited ability for beginners to take off in popularity. I still think it's far better than twitter/bluesky even taking that into account.

NG is a stable community overall. Not as volatile as X. Facebook, DeviantArt and Tumblr. There money making aspect is based on you rather than on the site. So that is why alot of newcomers gets discouraged of that DIY mentality. But I understand your view on the fact some artists stop coming back after one or two post. Its a slow burn compared to the rest of the sites out there.
